Shabbat Dinner
Please sign up at our table in the UC Concourse by Wednesday. The cost is $3 for students.
Each week after dinner those who would like to can participate in the birkat hamazon (a traditional prayer offering thanks for the food) and/or a spirited sing along of traditional Z'mirot (Sabbath evening songs).

This week's menu features:
Meat boreka strips (ground beef baked in a phyllo dough crust, kind of like a knish) with mushroom sauce on the side as the meat entrée,
layered eggplant (breaded and with other veggies and sauce kind of like an eggplant parmesan without the cheese as the vegetarian entrée,
potato kugel (a savory pudding), sweet baby carrot tzimmes (a sweet fruit and veggie stew), garden salad with a choice of dressings on the side,
fresh fruit, brownies, cannolis, and Florentines, challah (braided ritual bread), grape juice, and assorted beverages.

Social Action Shabbat Dinner featuring Chinese Food!
For more than 65 years the March of Dimes has helped save millions of premature infants from death and permanent disability through its research and innovative programming.
Proceeds from this dinner will be donated to the March of Dimes.
This week's menu features delicious kosher Chinese food from Taam China of Brookline.
Vegetarian egg rolls,
veggie lo mein,
mixed vegetables with garlic sauce,
beef with broccoli,
chicken with snow pea pods,
Szechuan style bean curd,
white rice,
soy sauce, duck sauce, hot Chinese mustard,
grape juice, challah (braided ritual bread),
fortune cookies, orange slices, and beverages.
